    This month has focused on our new integrations with Visma Economic (DK) & eEkonomi SE+NO to ensure the quality of these.

    Extended support for product handling

    Vi har förbättrat hur ni hanterar olika detaljer om era produkter, som serienummer, batchnummer, bästföre-datum, IMEI-nummer, MAC-adresser, och liknande.

    Tidigare fick man inte ändra dessa uppgifter om man hade produkter kvar på lager som hade dessa specifika hanteringssätt.

    Nu har vi tydligare definierat vilka ändringar som kan göras vid inleverans och utleverans, vilket gör det möjligt att justera dessa hanteringssätt även om det finns produkter kvar på lagret.

    New Product Availability endpoint

    Our Product Availability API has limited information which makes it difficult for integrations to show accurate estimated delivery dates & available quantity.

    We have built a new API endpoint GET /v1_0/{client}/ProductAvailability/{ProductNumber}/{Warehouse} which will display:

    Send self-designed emails from the order view

    Some customers need to create their own templates to send important information to their own customers. This could be about things like delays, product recalls or just general delivery information.

    By creating a template in our HTML editor, you can customize the appearance exactly as they want. You can then use this template on your order list to send out the information to your customers. Note that the red fields do not play any role in this context.

     

    When you send out the email, you have the option of choosing a template from a drop-down menu. Only the templates marked as "Send custom email template from order list" are displayed in the menu.

    The To field automatically retrieves information from the "order confirmation field" on the order. If there are several different values (several different orders selected) in the order confirmation field, the field will be blank. If you send e-mail in that mode, the message goes to the e-mail address entered in the order confirmation field for all selected orders. If you enter something in the to field, the email will be sent to the specified email address for all selected orders.

    The From field is default and cannot be edited.

    Regarding the subject line (Subject): You can manually change it if you want.

    As for the message itself (Body), you can write something manually and then include information from the email template by using the [Email:Body] tag in the HTML template.

    Order → Select one or more orders → “With selected orders” → “Send email to customer” → Select template

     

    Automatic release of remaining orders above a certain value

    If the setting "BOONHOLD - Send backlogged lines together with the next delivery" is activated on a client or per customer, the system saves the lines that could not be delivered for the next order from the same customer.

    Now you can activate an automatic function that goes through all order lines for each customer and sums up the value of the outstanding lines. The calculated sum is then compared to a preset value. If the total exceeds this value, the status of all backlogged lines for that customer is changed to "BOONASAP - Send backlogged lines immediately".

    This process is performed at predetermined times that can be scheduled, such as hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. Note that scheduling requires help from support to be implemented.

     

     

     

    Example:

    On this client, we have chosen SEK 1,000 as the value.

    Customer A has 3 orders (perhaps with several outstanding lines) that can be delivered (Blue man at line level in the client). The sum of all 3 orders will be SEK 1070 and then the scheduled job will change the lines to BOONASAP and the orders will be dropped for picking.

    Customer B has 2 orders that only have a total value of SEK 570, of which nothing happens with these.

    Customer C has 1 order with a total value of SEK 1030, these lines are changed to BOONASAP and released for picking.

     

     

    Above function takes into account requested delivery date & allowed partial delivery. If partial delivery is not permitted, this will not happen with those orders.

    How to access it?

    Gear → Other settings → Configuration → Select “Update BOONHOLD orders to BOASAP” → Enter a value (The value is the base currency for the client, usually SEK)

     

    Improvements and bug fixes

    • Name Update for Turkey: We have updated the name of Turkey to the new name "Türkiye" to enable billing to Fortnox.

    • Clearer delivery date requirements: We have made it clearer that the delivery date is mandatory in the quote module to improve the process.

    • Improvements in the Upsales CRM integration: We have made several improvements in the integration with Upsales CRM for a smoother and more efficient user experience.

    • Delivery notifications via API: Delivery notifications via API (DESADV from suppliers) can now accept SSCC numbers for better traceability and management.

    • Deleting products in BOM structures: Previous issues with deleting products that are included in BOM structures but have not had transactions have been resolved to improve handling.

    • Changed buttons for accounting: Buttons that were previously labeled "Fortnox" have now been changed to "Accounting" due to the integration with Visma.

    • Design Improvements for Forecast and Accounting Outcome: The Forecast page and Accounting Outcome have received a design update for an improved visual experience.

    • Automation of EMCS: We have automated the handling of EMCS (Alcohol Excise Tax Reporting) to streamline the process.

    • Fixed Home Page Forecast Bars: Any issues with Home Page Forecast Bars have been fixed for a smoother user experience.


     

    WMS

    Best before date on delivery

    In the upcoming release, we will improve the submission page with new features. One of these improvements is to display "Best before" date information for products already in stock upon receipt.

    We've added an extra column that shows the best-before date. If there are multiple best-before dates at a location, we mark the earliest date in red text to clearly show which date is closest in time. This gives users a better overview and helps them make informed decisions when submitting.

    Simplify error handling with batch printing

    In the case of batch printing, we have simplified the handling by making a few actions:

    • Marks error message with red text and a line underneath (these can be clicked on to bring up an error message for that order)

    • Clicking on "Order id" takes you directly to the order booking page so that you can manually book the specific order.

    • If you back out from the "Order id" link, you will return to the batch printing page.

    Batch printing only works with Extend TA, not e.g. Nshift.

    Multi-/batch pick → Acknowledge selected orders → Then you end up on the batch print page

     

    Corrected design on submission

    We recently redesigned the checkout page, and we realized that some of our customers have very long texts for their products. We have now revised the design to ensure that it works smoothly for all users, regardless of the length of the product texts. With this improvement, all users can efficiently manage their submissions without the hindrance of long texts.

    The specified number of parcels is included for batch printing

    We have redesigned the multi-pack page and made it possible to enter the number of parcels per order.

    This information was not included with Batch printing before but is now fixed.

    Start menu → Assigned orders → Multipick/Batchpick → Confirm selected with transport.

     

    Weight codes when booking transport

    Area:

    When you choose to create detailed packages in the WMS, the previous volume & flat meter as well as the weight code box disappeared. Now this remains and can be used by customers who book transport by flatbed meter or volume.

    The weight is summed up by the package below.

    Hide entire pallets under multiple pallets

    During an ongoing multi-pick, we have added a button "Hide full top-level rows"

    Most of the time, pallets are the top level and you may want to pick these last when the entire pick is ready.

    If you check the box, all rows are hidden with full pallet rows.

    For example. If a row is on 1 pallet & 2 packages, the row is still displayed.

    If there are 2 pallets but 4 customers who should have half of each pallet, the row is hidden anyway. Because but then have to pick up 2 pallets last and divide it equally between the customers.

    When you have picked the last row, the box is automatically checked so that you understand that you have to pick up the pallets.

    Sorting in identical orders & minor minor fixes

    It is now possible to press "# of orders" in the WMS "Find identical orders".

    This is to sort out orders you want to combine into multi or batch picks.

    Merger of pallets upon delivery

    Some customers deliver their products directly to buffer/pick locations and then an additional Pallet ID is created in Extend which can be used for picking & inventory.

    It is now possible to merge the balance of a storage location directly upon delivery by activating a parameter.

    There are some conditions required for this to work:

    Does not work on storage locations typed "Goods reception" or "Setup location"

    • So Picking locations & Storage locations only.

    • Full pallets cannot be combined (top level of a product)

    • Balances above the full pallet level cannot be combined either

    • Only works for identical Batch & Best-before dates

    • Does not work for serial number-managed products

    Improvements and bug fixes

    • Added MyDHL Express for Nshift: We have introduced MyDHL Express for Nshift, as the old DHL Express feature is about to reach its maximum lifespan.

    • Acknowledgment of deliveries in the WMS delivery module: Users of the WMS delivery module can now acknowledge which orders the driver has delivered for improved management.

    • Update of the "Consignment Mark" field in WMS: Information added to the "Consignment Mark" field in WMS is now forwarded to Nshift to appear on the labels printed at DHL Parcel.

    • Limitation for Multiplock & Batchplock: Now only up to 300 orders can be created simultaneously for Multiplock & Batchplock. If more than 300 are selected, the user will receive a message and only 300 orders will be created.

    • Multipick Improvements: The text on the inventory location during multipick in progress has been enlarged for better readability, and pick units are now displayed in the multipick list for greater clarity.

    Improvements and bug fixes

    • We have identified and fixed a bug related to shipping price lists. Previously, this bug prevented customers from placing their orders when they contained BOM products that exceeded a certain weight. Now the problem is solved, and customers can continue to place their orders without any hindrance even when they contain BOM products that reach a certain weight.
