    Summary of features

    We are releasing 9 new features and 18 changes/enhancements to existing features in our systems this month.

     

    We are changing the release date to the second week of the month, to reduce the risk of disruption close to the month break. Release dates will be September 10th, October 15th, November 12th, December 10th.

    The release will be released to:

    • s02 - instance

      • Tuesday at 22:00 GMT+1, on 27/8

    • all other instances (s01, s03, s04, s05, s06, s07 + WMS)

      • Wednesday at 22:00 GMT+1 on 28/8

    Quick access to current products & prices per customer

    Customer

    Customers → Search for customer → Printouts in the menu

    On this page, you could previously only get prices if you entered a product category and a date.

    We are now adding a button that does not require a date or product category and brings up all products and prices that the customer has access to so that you can easily send price lists to customers.

    Internal contacts on purchase agreements based on client users

    Master data → Supplier → Supplier agreement → search for an agreement

    Previously, it was necessary to manually manage a list of internal users in order to indicate who is responsible for each contract.

    The new feature is that we retrieve the list among available users on the client.

     

    Send calendar bookings from the ERP system

    Order → Order → With selected rows → Send calendar booking

    This feature requires the support department to assist you with setting up

    We have clients who manage their own deliveries with their own transportation through the WMS with delivery receipt.

    These clients need to be able to notify the consignee that the delivery is on its way and notify a time when the consignee needs to be available to receive the goods.

    From the order-list view, they can send the booking that goes out via the backend to the customer's email.

    The customer accepts, declines or suggests another time via their email client and the Backend then handles the response and shows it to the staff handling the bookings.

    There are columns on the order-list view that show the booking status.

    Förbättringar & bugg-fixar

    • Fixed to show suppliers on a product in the product API

    • Fixed so that invoice reminders are sent out correctly

    • Added "State" to the delivery confirmation for customers shipping to e.g. USA

    • Extended the support for managing delivery point addresses as in some cases it needs to be communicated to the carriers

    • If prepayment of invoices is used, some BOM products could be picked even if they were delivered without partial delivery

    • The cost price of a dropship order was previously set at the time of order. Now, it is updated based on the purchase price of the purchase

    • BOM product expected delivery date was not updated if the "children" date was updated at drop-shipment purchase

    • The overview view on the order-list view did not take into account the order value of dropshipment orders that had BOM products before

    • New design of the product & customer data view


     

    WMS

    Several improvements to the reception of goods

    Inbound

    Reception of goods pre-adviced + unadviced

    In previous versions, we added a function to merge pallet IDs that are in the same location.

    If you had many lines on the purchase, it became an eternal clicking on each line to merge.

    This has now been further refined by adding a button that merges all rows that can be merged at the touch of a button.

    Applies to both pre-screened and unscreened deliveries.

    We have also moved the buttons for making additions, fast delivery & receipt to the top. To avoid unnecessary scrolling.

    After receiving the rows, it was difficult to see which rows belonged together. We added a small border to clarify this.

     

    Selectable columns and search box when moving stock

    Warehouse relocation → Search for warehouse locations

    When moving stock, we have made it possible to select columns and to filter the results by searching in a box after the search. For example, if you are looking for a serial number in a location.

     

    Improvement in batch printing

    Batch picking → Transportation printing

    After making a batch pick, there has been confusion about how to book and print transports.

    We have tried to make it easier by having you first select the mode of transport you want to print and then you book the transport.

    Once the transport is booked, you can press to request the printout of the booked transport.

    Usually there will be an error message at the carrier due to e.g. wrong postal code or missing mobile number.

    Better view of who is picking an order and the status of it, as well as assigning picks from the order view

    Orderpicking

    Order picking → columns

    On the order picking page, we have made it clearer with the status of the order and who is assigned to the order.

    We have added "user" as a column that shows who picks the order or who it is assigned to.

    If the order belongs to a multi/batch pick, we show the ID of the pick so that you can find who is picking the order.

    It is also possible to assign an order directly from the order view.

    Mass update of package dimensions during multipick

    Some carriers such as DHL require the dimensions of the package to be entered for transportation booking.

    If you want to be able to quickly print transport labels, you need to create these dimensions first and for this purpose we have added length, width and height to the multi-pick view. As well as being able to specify the package type.

    You have to use the shipment filter to get the collision types per carrier.

    Inactive storage locations

    Storage locations → Search storage locations

    We added in previous versions the possibility to disable/delete storage locations that are not used or have become wrong.

    Now you can search for these deactivated storage locations (that have had some kind of transaction on them) and "reactivate" them.

    You can select multiple storage locations and deactivate several at once.

    Improvements and bug fixes

    • Updated our Postnord API to handle goods letters and MyPack Collect Norway

    • Some WMS clients could not access "Find identical orders". Fixed now

    • Updated Schenker API to handle new service offering

    • Help pallet picking could mean that you did not pick according to FEFO, fixed now that you always pick the oldest first

    • Updated DHL API to handle new version "5.17”

    • Quick receipt on submission included previous rows that were canceled, fixed now

    • Plock collin used to automatically end up in the last active collin, a bug made it not work

    • Available balance during stock movement & replenishment should now be displayed more correctly after picking has taken place

    • We can now directly book transports with Bring via their API in our own TA module
