We have updated the page to create & edit direct deliveries. When a delivery has been made, you had to go into each line & change to “delivered” manually.

We have now added a button so you can select multiple direct deliveries at once, and mark those that delivered.

You select the direct deliveries you want to change and then select “With selected purchases”.

To download current exchange rates into Extend, you previously had to download them from Fortnox or enter them manually in another way.

To be less dependent on Fortnox's exchange rates, we have added rates from the European Central Bank:
Euro foreign exchange reference rates

The reference rates used are usually updated around 16:00 CET each business day.

They are based on the daily coordination process between central banks in Europe, which normally takes place around 14:10 CET.

You select the courses you want to be downloaded automatically, and Extend takes care of the rest.

If you choose, for example, DKK & USD, and have SEK as the base currency. This creates SEK → DKK & SEK → USD, but also DKK → USD.

This enables more detailed reports & analyses in the Backend.

Main menu → Search product

Many have complained that you have to press “ok” to be able to search for a product.

We have now fixed it so that the search box appears directly and the cursor goes directly into the search field.

In addition, the user will be taken to the client they had selected the last time they were in the product search. (If you have more than 1 client in a warehouse)

Main menu → Receipt

It has previously been difficult to see the status of receipts in the WMS. For example, if someone has forgotten to acknowledge lines or similar.

We have now added a box to “Filter by status”.

• Not started = receipts that do not have any lines received

• Started, not acknowledged = receipts that have a line received, but where staff has forgotten to press “Acknowledge receipt”.

  • These receipts are also marked with light yellow lines.

• Partially delivered = some rows have been delivered, but not all.

• Error/warning = connected to the robot bearings

• Synchronized = synced with the ERP system, delivery not possible during this time

  • These deliveries are marked in clear blue and cannot be opened.

• Hidden = receipts that the staff has marked (with the blue box on the left) and printed: “Hide marked rows”

  • This causes the receipt to disappear from the list but can be found again by selecting “Hidden/Hidden rows”

  • From there you can view the receipts again if you made a mistake.

  • The idea behind this function is that warehouse staff should mark the deliveries that they have finished, and then the buyer can check if there are any lines left on the purchase that have not arrived. For example, if the suppliers are not sending everything that has been ordered and are not working with remaining lines.

Transport

Main menu → Broadcast list → Create broadcast list

Some of our customers send packages to, for example: Norway.

Then you pack the customer's package & put a shipping label on the package and then you load it together on a pallet to Norway.

The carrier that will be transporting the pallet usually calls this a “jacketed shipment” or “consolidated” shipment and it is usually booked separately.

In our WMS, completed shipments are automatically added to a shipping list that can be completed to produce a printed shipping list & customs invoice for the shipments within the shipping list.

We have added that you can create these scheduled broadcasts directly from the broadcast list as well.

You can then choose a predefined address for the shipment, or search for an address.

You choose the address down there and then the transportation method & book the transportation as usual.

Then all shipments are included in the enveloped shipment and can be communicated to the carrier that they are included.

We have also added that you can create a completely independent shipment, without connection to any order or products (e.g. if you need to send out samples, or send something internally)

You must select a customer, but can edit their address before sending the package.

Multi/Batch picking

Main menu → Find other orders

On “Find other orders” we have added several new features:

1. You search for:

   1. Minimum number of products & maximum number of products (of the base unit, e.g. Piece)

      1. Useful if you want to pick all orders with a maximum of 1 piece in an aggregated pick.

2. Naming of missions

   1. When you create multi or batch picks, you can name them to give the next picker a hint about what it is about or if a specific person is picking, e.g. “Postnord-multi-pick”

3. Add orders to an existing multi-pick to “fill” it.

We had to redesign “Assigned orders” as well to accommodate the new name:

Additionally, we have made it so that you stay on the assigned name you chose if you back out of “Assigned Orders” and then go back in again.

When you move a product, it can be nice to see how many there will be in existing locations.

We now show it in the “location search” this way and have reduced the number of results to 5 to minimize unnecessary scrolling:
