ERP (Backend)
The "MVC" project is almost finished | |

Backend | Everywhere |
For several years, we have spent over 25,000 hours upgrading the interface in the Backend to a more modern interface that we have called the "MVC project". We have redesigned about 250 pages and the project is coming to an end with only a few pages left. Therefore, we are now making these available to the roles that currently have access to the old pages and are renaming the old pages, e.g. "Price lists (older)", and the new pages will inherit the old names, e.g. "Price lists". The old pages will not disappear for a while (about 6 months). But will be phased out, as we have ensured 100% reliability with the new pages. Even though we have spent a lot of time testing all possible approaches, there may still be bugs left, report them directly to us and we will fix them: https://extendcommerce.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/3/group/4/create/21 With this, we "open" up to add fields/functions that were missing on the previous pages, but which were denied because we could not edit the old pages. If you have suggestions for fields/functions, please contact us https://extendcommerce.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/3/group/4/create/25 |

Backend | Gears → Other Settings → Client Settings (at the bottom) |
You can set up different sequential number series in the system and set up prefixes for these. Unfortunately, this has been completely locked behind doors by our support, but now we are opening this up for users. It will be possible to change:
We hope this makes the system more accessible and relieves our support. |

Order | Order Names |
Previously, we have "repeated" the list price of the BOM head down to the "children", which made it difficult to see if you were selling a product too cheap or expensive, because it was included in a package. This meant that the "Discount" column was always based on the BOM header's list price, which was also misleading. This feature only applies to those who distribute the price to the customer, to the children through one setting. Now we have made it so that if the customer has access to the product separately, through a price list. Then we show the list price from the price list. Then you can see, for example, that the customer gets - 0.71% discount, which means that the product was a little more expensive because the customer bought it in one package, compared to if they had ordered it separately. The list price is always rounded to the nearest integer in the interface, hence there may be a difference from the price per unit. |

Product/Stock | Search product → Warehouse → Select warehouse |
The layer log has been difficult to understand for some and created unnecessary support tickets, so we decided to try to simplify and clarify it by creating some new columns and renaming the old ones to more logical names. We've also redesigned some to be hidden automatically, and the most useful ones are visible to the user.
We hope this will clear some things out and make the log more useful for our clients. |

Order | Order → Order Lines |
When searching for order lines, you have a few options to filter out lines that have not been complete. We have now supplemented a few things to make it better: Order dates are on 1 line instead of 2. The desired delivery date now has an "end date" filter, was only previously "from". You can now save any dates you want, does not have to be 180 day intervals. Keep in mind that large searches affect the performance of you and your colleagues. We've also added a summary at the bottom of the page for "Price", "Quantity" & "Margin". The margin shows the average of the order lines. |
Minor improvements & bug fixes
Fixed the bug that made it impossible to activate a customer via the new MVC Customer page
The "Invoice on completed complete order" feature is now available via the API
MVC Customer Invoice list had some bugs that have been fixed
Shipment name as search field on the order list page worked incorrectly
The price list upload page could sometimes give an error message that is now fixed
Made it possible to change the name of the supplier agreement
Corrected rounding that became very many decimal places at different sales units on the order view
When a serial number is scrapped in WMS, it is visible in the balance adjustment webhook
Fixed an error that could occur when XUI links were created manually in the interface.
WMS

Receipt | Main menu → Receiving → After received product |
Some of our customers sometimes happen to deliver far too many pallets due to incorrect master data for how many units there are at an entire top level. We have now added a button to correct your mistake if you happen to do so. To avoid having to press all the bins 1 and 1. |

Transport booking | WMS Admin (Requires special permission) |
Some carriers have a variety of services that they offer as add-ons to a transportation booking. One carrier has 102 which meant that there was a lot of scrolling in the WMS when booking transport. We have added the ability to set certain services always filled in and the ability to hide the ones you do not want to accidentally use to get a "cleaner" interface. It is still possible to press a button in the WMS to show all hidden services, if you need it. Requires special access to WMS admin that only our support can provide. |

Multi pick | Main Menu → Assigned Orders → Start Pick / Aggregate Pick |
When you multi-pick in the WMS, the interface jumps back and forth between 2 pages: The Row list and the product view. This makes it "jumpy" for the user and difficult to see where to go in the warehouse. We have now redesigned the interface so that you stay on the "product view" but get the next product to pick in the interface immediately. We've also added a sound if you scan the wrong bin or product. There are a few different ways to work with multi-picking, we have thought of all of them. Some do not confirm "location" but then only need to scan the next product and can "skip" the warehouse location scan. |
