 Extend Commerce WEBSHOP 

Minimize/maximize view of filtered results

ImprovementOrderRequires support to activate: NO

It is now possible to minimize the displayed information when using the filter feature. This means you can select your preferred search method. Also, the vertical categories are presented clearer.

Just use the +/- buttons to fill the block, or to minimize the whole section. If you minimize the section, only the the ”Filter” header and the + button at the top of the block are displayed.

If you press +/- or an arrow, the first two properties of this section will be displayed. The rest will be minimized/maximized.

This is a default setting if the ”Filter” feature is activated.

Clearer information about Phase-out products

ImprovementOrderRequires support to activate: NO

Information about products that are defined as ”Phase out” in the product settings will now show the lowered availability already in the webshop. This means your customer will get the information that the product is about to be phased out, and see the actual number of products available for purchase.

The validation message: “You have selected a model that is about to expire and will not be re-filled. You can maximum order the amount in stock”

The same validation will also show in the checkout as the balance may have changed during the buying process. The validation message here states which product is reason for the error and why.

Message in checkout: “You have selected product art. No. 101471-X that is about to expire and will not be re-filled. You can maximum order the 2 amount that is in stock”

Invoices available on “My page”

ImprovementOrderRequires support to activate: NO

The webshop user can now easily find and view invoices under the section-tab “Invoices” on ”My Page”. Here all invoices are listed, showing maximum the 100 latest. Clicking on the PDF icon will open a PDF popup. Invoices can also be downloaded.

This feature is generic, but you can activate/hide it per webshop. 

Editable naming and listing of transport services

Editable naming
In  Extend Commerce BACKEND you can name transport services with naming you don’t want to communicate to the customer. You can now map/change these names to make them more intuitive. Just go to ”Transport agreement” in ”General settings”. The new naming will in addition to be displayed in the webshop als show throughout  Extend Commerce (for example delivery notes, order confirmation etc.). 

If you do not change the information, the default name will show. 

Editable listing scheme
The UI towards the end customer can now be adjusted to display the preferred listing order, for example 1/ PostNord, 2/ DHL, 3/ UPS. Meaning, can define which transport service to be listed as No. 1, No. 2, etc. in the WEBSHOP. This is defined in  Extend Commerce BACKEND per order type.


Enhanced loading in Webshop

If you handle a large number of products, you will notice enhancements of the performance and loading time in the  Extend Commerce WEBSHOP.

We have added the possibility to get the value ”Total estimated cost” of products, and added a product link in the product API. In the Order API we have added a link to Order. 

BACKEND

Upgrade of UI technology

We have continued the process of updateing our old webform to more modern MVC technology. In this release, two pages under ”Master Data” and ”Freight/Warehouse”, 1/ ”Freight Agreement” and 2/ ”Departure” are changed. No functionality is affected by this.
