Summary

We are releasing 10 new features this month and 13 changes/improvements to existing features in our systems.

We've also made several performance improvements and fixed bugs not mentioned below.

These are preliminary release notes, actual info applies when this warning message has disappeared.

Extend knowledge center:

In the near future, we intend to switch our case management system to Jira Cloud. This is still part of the Atlassian product portfolio that we already used today, but a cloud-based one.

As a first step, we will change confluence where you can find our Manual & Knowledge Center today. It will not mean any direct differences for you as a user – you will find the same information here.

However, we will have a new url for this page, so if you have saved the current link for this, we recommend to update it to https://extendcommerce.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB .


ERP (Backend)

Email headers will be retrieved from Backend

All automatic emails that go out from Extend have a header, some emails have taken their header from this page, some have not.

Nowadays all emails get their header from here if they are filled in, otherwise it will get from the old way where Extend support set up the header.

We recommend everyone to go through these "topics" before release

Invoice email can be changed under "Financial settings → Email Settings"

Receive an webhook when the order point is reached per product

It is now possible to receive an email notification when the safety stock falls below a certain level of an entire stock.

We have now added that you can also receive a webhook at order points per product.

By entering the email address (or several by separating with ; or , ) you can receive an webhook when the balance is below the order point.

The purpose is in case a specific person is interested in the stock balance of a product. Then they can receive a notice

This email info can also be entered via uploads and via API.

It is also possible to listen when a product falls below the order point via Webhooks.

NOTE: Applies only to those with EDQC as acquisition method.

How to access it?

Warehouse → Products → Edit product (Pen tool)

Blue status icon indicating allocated balance at order-main level

Inside the order main page, we have added another column called "Allocated"

This shows a become icon which indicates that the entire order is fully allocated to the balance in stock and needs (mostly) no action.

Some rules when the icon appears:

  • On orders in "Review Queue" with allocated balance.

  • If the order only contains VAS or service products.

  • If order lines are picked or have already been sent.

Some rules when the icon is not displayed:

  • If it is an order where any line is not allocated (For example: waiting for delivery or no purchase created).

  • In the case of direct delivery, the icon is displayed after the purchase has been made if the order also contains regular stock items that are allocated and not before.

  • If all lines are delivered then the order is in status "Completed".

The purpose is to be able to quickly get an overview of whether everything is in stock to deliver the order.

How to access it?

Main menu → Order → Order → The table

You can press the gear wheel to show/hide the “Allocated” column or move it around to where you think it fits)

Improvements and bug fixes

  • The stock value on the home page could become "0" on special occasions.

  • Magento API connector now supports JWT authentication.

  • It was not possible to open the payment method setting under "Other settings → Order settings".

  • Fixed problem with email not going off the first time when you clicked on "Send reminder 1" inside the invoice list.

  • Problem changing the financial category of a product has been fixed.

  • Automatic purchases were not created on the day of the week it was intended for when you had "weekly" driving.

  • Limited role where order takers would only see a specific warehouse's orders could sometimes see other warehouses.

  • Fixed not being able to update “WarehouseInstruction” on a product via API

  • Customer template functionality previously added in previous version releases now also works for Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce.

  • Accounting rules have received an updated interface.

  • Order confirmations via email can now show the price per line including VAT.


WMS

Made inventory locations less sensitive to accidental selection

In several places in the WMS, you can select a storage location by pressing.

If you have many empty storage locations, the list has become long and there is a risk that you accidentally click on a different storage location than the one you intended while scrolling on the page.

We have now made it so that you have to press the green area to select a storage location. Previously, the entire red area was active for pressure.

Reassign an order line under aggregated multi-pick

After you create a multiplock, you get two choices:

  • Common multiplock

  • Aggregated multiplock

When you make an aggregated multiple pick, the balance may not be available at the location, or you may want to pick from a different storage location than the existing one. Then there were 7 steps earlier to be able to do this. (Marked with red arrows below).

In the new function, you get directly to the view where you can re-reserve the balance or note the remaining balance on the line. (marked with green arrows below)

Handling marking during multiple picking in progress

A few versions ago we added the possibility to show "Handling label" from the Backend in the WMS in a clearer way for the overview of a multiple pick before starting to pick.

Now we have built on that function by alerting the picker even during the actual pick, the change is made for aggregated multiple picks.

How to access it?

The setting needs to be activated by support, but if it is already active, you get the function automatically.

Quick move of pallet ID directly from "Search product"

When you have searched for a product, you sometimes want to move it immediately because it might be in the wrong place or similar.

Previously, you had to copy the pallet number and go to "Stock transfer".

Now we have made a shortcut where you can directly move the pallet

The button is not visible if the pallet number is being picked by an order.

Tip: You can see if it is under picking during the balance summation (however summed per storage location)

How to access it?

Go directly to transport booking from single pick

Area:

On single pick-up, you have previously ended up at an intermediate landing place after pressing "Confirm with transport" where you then had to press "Book transport". This has been to provide the opportunity for joint transport.

Now we have changed so that you can go directly to the transport booking page by changing the button of the day when the single order pick is complete:

Pickers who have previously created shared transports now need to click on "Shared Transport" to be able to do so. If they happen to press the usual button that has been given a new function, they can go back to "Picked orders, to complete" and choose combined transport

How to access it?

Main menu → Order picker → At the bottom of the earth when it is fully packed.

Create multiple batches from "Find identical orders"

Under "Find identical orders" it was previously only possible to create batch picking, which required a special handling of the picking process.

Now we have added so that you can create "Multiplock" directly

This makes it possible to access all the functions we added to the order pick page

Improvements and bug fixes

  • Added MyDHL Express for Nshift (Old DHL Express is reaching its maximum life soon)

  • "Date to pick" added as a column in the order pick view (single-pick)

  • Preparations for 11.4 where DHL + Extend TA will arrive.

  • Database cleaning of old data

Extend webshop (b2b)

It is now possible to add a box inside the online shop that shows the customer's available credit:

It is also possible to limit that the customer cannot place an order above their limit, but this requires support to set it up.

How to access it?

You have to go via Gear → Other settings → Client settings:
